Plan 01-03: Visual Verification — Summary

Status: Complete Date: 2026-06-18

What Happened

Human visual verification of the portal shell. User tested in browser at http://localhost:3000.

Findings & Fixes

1. Initial load showed placeholder — Docker container had stale build from Wave 1. Fixed by rebuilding web container.
2. Traefik removed — User requested direct port exposure instead of reverse proxy. Web on :3000, API on :3001.
3. Dark mode too dark — Background lightened from oklch(0.17) to oklch(0.23), cards from 0.21 to 0.27, sidebar from 0.14 to 0.20.
4. Sidebar accent color in light mode — Was yellow (#ffed00) for text/icons, changed to dark gray for readability. sidebar-accent-foreground changed from yellow to oklch(0.25 0 0).
5. Locale switcher moved — Removed from header, added to sidebar footer (user preference: language belongs in settings area, not header).

Verification Results

• Layout: Header + Sidebar + Main area ✓
• Theme toggle: Light/Dark switching works ✓
• Language: DE/EN switching works (now in sidebar) ✓
• Sidebar: Collapsible, accordion categories ✓
• Dashboard: Empty state with "Keine Widgets aktiv" + add button ✓
• Responsive: Hamburger menu on small screens ✓

• UI-01: Light/Dark theme toggle ✓
